Get rid of that extra box to charge and carry - the Geo Logger

GeoLogTag will log your movements. You can then export the logs, of tap into a shared folder, and the app will geo-tag your photos for you for further processing.

While there are various devices which can attach directly to a Nikon DSLR, Canon folk have to use external loggers. Number of points is limited to the memory you have available.

The great thing, its one less piece of gear to carry, one less unit to charge - and the phone does tend to be along for the ride regardless.

Need to check on accuracy of the logs, and the response times - especially in big city environments.

Could not resist the $5 cost. Will test and revise my GPS geo tag workflow if this works out.
